F-16C Fighting Falcon

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-role aircraft designed by the American manufacturer General Dynamics. Since 1993 it has been manufactured by the Lockheed Martin armaments corporation. It is used by the air forces of several dozen countries around the world. The first F-16s arrived in Poland on 8 November 2006 and are still in service today. Multi-role F-16 aircraft form the core of the Polish Air Force combat aviation and are designed to perform tasks in the fight for air superiority, to support other armed forces and to conduct reconnaissance.
