HD680 meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.6. It achieves this thanks to a triple structure consisting of a shock-absorbing silicone housing, a durable buffer and a shock-absorbed hard disk mount. The result is that an external hard drive can survive a fall from a height of up to 1.22 meters.
For proper operation, connect to ports with a minimum of USB 3.0. Connecting to USB 2.0 requires connection to two USB ports using the USB Y cable to provide sufficient power.
